Adey Wright (Director)
Hull born Adey presents the Morning Show, and also the 11 at 11 every weekday from 10am – but can you guess the year? In his day job, Adey can be found coaching the next generation of motorists through their driving tests (if they can book one, that is!!). A massive Tigers fan, join him on Wednesday nights at 7pm on Tiger Talk.

Richard Moore (Director)
Richard grew up in West Hull and went to school in the city. Having worked on a bunch of radio stations in the early 90’s, his day job is now working with industrial companies on cyber security. He presents our weekday morning Rewind hourand is also responsible for all our technical and broadcast stuff, and well as commercial production and station imaging.

James Smith
James Smith (and his late night alter-ego, J-Swizz) is one of our fresh new voices on Humber Wave Radio. A local Hull lad, James is passionate about radio and music. On his shows, expect to hear plenty of hidden gems and forgotten favourites, from Chart-Flopping hits, to forgotten hits from then to now, and on Friday nights dedicated to big dance anthems to get the weekend started.

Paul Wright
Paul joins you for lunch every weekday 12pm – 1pm, sponsored by the rather excellent Anlaby Park family pub. As an ageing rocker, Paul also brings you the The Friday night rock show 6pm – 7pm. You can also hear him keeping Adey in check on Tiger Pop, talking all things Hull City. Email paul@humberwave.com for requests

James Bowers
Humber Wave Radio’s Longest serving presenter and a budding journalist. James keeps you company in the afternoons and always has the latest local news and lowdown on whats going on in Hull & East Yorkshire. Catch him Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays 2pm – 4pm. James also presents The Democracy show Sundays 1pm

Dave Hudson
Dave’s radio journey started at Hull’s hospital radio station, Kingstown Radio before moving to KCFM where he presented every show around the clock and produced shows for legend like Tony Blackburn, David Hamilton and Mike Read. Dave has done stints at a number of other local radio stations in East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire. Catch him on Wednesday afternoons, and for 2 hours of 80’s hits on a Saturday morning.

Adam Brett
Adam B is presenter of The Usual Suspects. It is the area’s definitive local music show featuring live music and showcasing local talent every Wednesday 6pm – 7pm and Saturdayst 6pm – 8pm. If you want to be featured, or play live on the radio, get in touch usualsuspects@humberwave.com

Roy Woodcock
Well known local journalist, Roy Woodcock presents a number of shows accross our schedule. Catch him Fridays from 4pm -6pm as he gets Hull & East Yorkshire back home safely, featuring live guests. Roy also presents Sunday specials on his great musical loves of Jazz and Blues.

Andy Fea
Andy has worked on several stations in the area, including KCFM and Beverley FM. He presents a variety of programmes on the station, and is our 80’s and 90’s music guru. You can catch him on Mondays and Tuesdays from 1-2pm, as well as a regular member of the Drive Time team.

Jess Leck
Jess is on the radio Saturday afternoons from 1pm with ‘What’s New?’. She has got all the latest pop hits and chart updates with the odd throwback in there for good measure.

Andy Donkin
Andy was born in Hull and was bitten by the radio bug at an early age, starting in Hospital Radio in Driffield, and arriving at Humber Wave Radio via several community stations. He has a keen interest in Music and for his day job works in Aviation Engineering. Catch Andy on the Weekend Breakfast Show 7am-9am.

Neil Tattersall
NeilT presents our breakfast show every weekday morning.
A resident in Cottingham, Neil has had a love for radio for years and decided to join the Humber Wave team.

Phil Rogers
Phil Rogers abandoned life in his native Bedford when he heard just how cool Hull was! With his massive, bulging postbag of requests, Phil is presenter of our Tuesday night extravaganza, from 6 til 9 Including the ‘All Request Jukebox. He started at the age of 18 with Charity station Radio Cracker in Hull in 1992, Then later, hospital radio in Sunderland and Hull before we snapped him up at Humber Wave Radio. Ryan ‘Raz’ Mulcahy
Raz been performing locally for 20 years and is in a few bands around Hull. Ryan occasionaly presents The Usual Suspects, as well as Friday Drive.

Jayne Howland
Together with Derek, Jayne presents our weekly rugby show ‘Golden Point Extra Time” and can be heard each Thursday evening from 6pm.

Philip Codling
Phil joined Humber Wave Radio in 2018 when he wrote and presented shows highlighting music artists, his personal highlight being a 5 part David Bowie series. Following lockdown, he got back involved again, and we even gave him his old spot back!. Despite all this, he says that he still hasn’t worked out Mark E. Smith! (We wonder if perhaps he’s still on that Telephone Thing -ed.)

Jim Blackburn
Jim harks from Hull’s small but electric 1980s rock ’n’ roll scene, with nights at the Gatsby Bar, live touring acts at Dingwalls, and Psychobilly chaos at the Adelphi and Spring Street Theatre. He was lucky enough to be part of it, spinning records from his growing collection, and today—semi‑retired and armed with the power of the internet—he still gets the same thrill from discovering “new old music” and sharing his collection with listeners on Humber Wave Radio. Catch him Tuesdays at 9pm.

Catain Zoetrope
Musical Musical explorer. Alternative connoisseur. Lover of all things electronic – An audionaut if you must! Capt Z broadcasts his show once a month. Always on the last Thursday. Always at 10pm. Playing a selection of forgotten album tracks, B-sides, remixes, new tunes and old tunes. All with one thing in common: all chosen for their high end musical quality. All wheat no chaff! Come and join the fun and the weirdness exclusively on Humber Wave Radio.

Steve Dinsdale
Steve has had 20 years behind the decks in the pubs and clubs, and a decade in internet and community radio. He’s a horror‑movie buff, gamer, and proud dog lover. Steve presents Decades on the Docks 1pm-3pm on Saturdays, and Haunted Waves at 11pm on the first three Thursdays of the month.

Clare Elizabeth
Clare is a Sports Injury Masseuse, Reiki Master, Clinical Hypnotherapist and Herbalist. She is also a lifelong paranormal and conspiracy researcher, former group leader and ongoing Haunted Magazine contributor. Musician, photographer and passionate advocate for natural medicine for humans and animals. Clare presents Haunted Waves along with Steve Dinsdale.

John Wiles
Humber Wave Radio’s roving reporter. We are told that Wilesey has been doing radio since the beginning of time in his native Australia. He now proudly uses his bus pass to travel to highways of Hull and Eat Yorkshire, bumping into all sorts of characters along the way. Peter Fairhead
Born in Essex, Peter started his radio career at Hospital Radio Chelmsford at 14. He then joined the BBC before landing in East Yorkshire with stints on Viking Gold as well as KCFM. Peter is here with his Guilty Pleasures from 11am on Saturday, and his County Show at 2pm on Sundays

Max Roberts
Max brings you The Folk Hour featuring folk music in all its guises….. Acoustic music, Folk Rock, Folk Blues. and Americana. Tune in every Sunday evening

DJ Ginner (Martin Wilson)
Ginner’s Passion for Dance music began back in the 80s and 90s whilst travelling the world with the British Army, he later became resident DJ at a local nightclub and years later got involved with a station in South Yorkshire before his move to Humber wave radio.
Born and bred in Skipton North Yorkshire and now settled in Driffield he brings you the Dance Show with DJ Ginner every Friday at 9pm playing Dance and Club Classics from the last three decades

Sean Bell
Sean was an award winning DJ around the bars and nightclubs across the city in the 1980’s and 90’s, and he’s now mixing up his same blend of soul, funk and disco with hip-hop, RnB and reggae ‘Club Classics’ each Saturday evening here on Humber Wave. Away from the radio, long time Scout Leader, Sean is either being creative writing and producing radio content and commercials in his studio or enjoying the great outdoors…instructing up a rock face, on a shooting range, or on – or in – the water. But not all at the same time.

Legendary voiceover artist, and now a Hull native who has been heard on pretty much every station in the nation, as well as on TV ads throughout the decades.
