Autism Acceptance Month, held in April (including World Autism Awareness Day on 2nd April), promotes inclusivity, understanding, and celebration of autistic individuals. #autism is a wide spectrum affected individuals in different ways, Autism is a neurodevelopmental difference. Whilst many more children are now being diagnosed as autistic many adults are also as awareness and understanding increases specially amongst women. Studies suggest a true prevalence of 2% to 3%, higher than previous estimates.
